Welcome Italia is the event organized by The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK dedicated to all food lovers that wish to discover and explore the best of Italian Food & Beverage. Here you can have a unique experience made of Italian aromas and flavours, in a journey that brings together quality, passion and sustainability. It recorded at the last edition the presence of more than 400 professionals in the Trade Only day and more than 3000 visitors in the following two days.
For exhibitors, exhibiting at Welcome Italia give them the possibility to connect with visitors and a large number of UK food & beverage professionals.
For visitors, it will be possible to attend extraordinary cooking shows, where the most famous Italian chefs in UK will demonstrate their ability recreating delicious and tasty recipes. The area has a kitchen equipped with a mirror that allows the public to see the chefs at work and is furnished with chairs and tables that accommodate about 70 spectators. It will be the pulsating area of the fair in which will be organise cooking shows, master classes, seminars, events and tastings for a professional and interested audience.
The event is dedicated to all those Italian producers and British importers and distributors of Italian products who want to enter in one of the richest and dynamic markets of all over the world, with an Italian importation from Italy. The UK is the 4th most popular destination for Italian exports. In the first quarter of 2016 italian exports to the UK registered a 3.17% increase compared to the same period in 2015. It will be companies from all the areas of Italy, including Nonno Nanni, Alessi, and Acqua Minerale San Benedetto. Welcome Italia’s aim is to promote the Italian companies and their amazing products that have not been discovered yet in England.
Welcome Italia takes place in The Royal Horticultural Halls, that it is at 10 minutes walking from Victoria station and is simply reachable by the Victoria Line, the Circle line and the District Line. Trade only day is on 21st October (1pm-7pm) instead it’s free to visit on 22nd October (10.30am-7pm) and on 23rd October (10.30am-5pm).
